By Insurance Business America reveals the nation’s top producers
The insurance industry has been under intense pressure over the last 12 months, hit by a double whammy of the COVID-19 pandemic and a rapidly hardening market. Yet many insurance professionals have not just risen to the challenge, they have surpassed expectations – and now Insurance Business America can reveal the best performing in the country, in its Top Producers 2021 list.
Now in its seventh year, the Top Producers list was put together after IBA launched a nationwide survey, back in January, asking producers to put forward their nominations. To qualify as a Top Producer, they needed to have achieved at least $1 million in commission revenue in 2020, with at least 50% commercial P&C business, and demonstrated year-over-year growth from 2019. Each nominated producer was required to provide specific details about his or her business to be eligible.
Now, the results are in – with producers on the list writing an average of 1,042 policies, having an average of 547 active clients, and producing $2.3 million in average commission revenue.
So, who made the list?
Among those to be featured are Brian A. Payne, of Field Insurance Agency; David W. Clausen of Coastal Insurance Solutions; Kendall and Blake McEachern, of Acentria Insurance; and Kevin Mason, also of Acentria Insurance.
