By Hub acquires Texas employee benefits firm
Global insurance broker Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the assets of Wellspring Insurance Agency. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Wellspring Insurance Agency, based in Argyle, Texas, is an independent employee benefits firm. Rodney Dryden, president of Wellspring Insurance Agency, will join Hub Texas and report to Martin Yung, president and CEO of the region.

The deal is the latest in Hub’s string of acquisitions. In January, the company snapped up Ohio-based Preferred Benefits Services Agency and Puerto Rico-based Christiansen Insurance Group.
