By Hastings Mutual taps new underwriting head
Hastings Mutual Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Jay DePasquale as vice president and chief underwriting officer.
DePasquale previously served as assistant vice president for commercial lines. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, with a background in management and underwriting. He holds the CIC and CRM certifications.

“I am looking forward to working more closely with our personal lines and farm lines teams, and continuing my relationship with our commercial lines underwriters,” DePasquale said. “We’re working on a lot of projects now that will make writing business with Hastings Mutual even better for our agents and customers.”
