CSAA Insurance Group announces key hires

Before joining CSAA, Gianusso served as global chief technology officer for Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate division. Prior to that, he served for more than 25 years at Prudential International Insurance.

Walker will report to Ryan Vigus, executive vice president, personal lines product. In his new role, he will have broad strategic responsibility across all core actuarial functions, including personal and commercial lines.

“Todd brings with him decades of leadership experience in the property and casualty insurance industry,” Vigus said. “His approach to fact-based decision-making and applying predictive analytics to solve business problems will help us continue to ensure competitive and actuarially sound rates in our markets.”

Walker joins CSAA after more than 20 years at USAA, where he most recently served as vice president of the auto national product team. In that role, he developed the strategy for and led the execution of USAA’s largest rating segmentation overhaul. Walker is a fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society, and has served on the board for the Society of Insurance Research as vice president of public relations and communications and as treasurer.
